AHH!! MY FIRST BOOK REVIEW!!
Before I say anything else, I just wanted to state that these book reviews wiill  be spoiler free-if i do want to add any spoilers, I will tell you beforehand so you can still enjoy the book to the fullest level! Here, I have the book, Bloodlines, by Richelle Mead, and I have to say that
I really really liked it! Before I start, I just wanted to tell you that
if you haven't read Richelle Mead's, first series(Vampire Academy)
then PLEASE don't continue! Vampire Academy will give you a lot of background
information and if you read this first, you'll have spoilers! Also, I am thinking of having a schedule now
for my posts because, well I originally thought, a post a day! It's summer! But sadly,
that didn't go as planned; some weeks I would post everyday and sometimes, I would
take FOREVER to post something new! I am thinking that I have 2-3 times
MINIMUM for posting on this blog. Also, I'm thinking that since this is more of a personal blog,
that I make a book blog! AHH! I'm so incredibly excited for that! Unfortunately, for my book blog,
everything will be out of order since right now in the summer, I am reading A LOT(to give you an
idea-the number of books I've read spread out would be like me reading a book every 2 days!)
Sadly, once school starts, I'll be posting less frequently so on this blog-I am thinking about posting
once every week or once every week and a half and my book blog just whenever I read a new book! Also, if anyone is wondering why there is just a black space without a picture, it's because I couldn't find a template to go with the pictures I took so I just filled it up with "MY FIRST BOOK REVIEW!!"
SO NOW WITHOUT FURTHER A DO....HERE IS MY BOOK REVIEW!

Before we start, I'm just going to say that the book was EXTREMELY good. Since I may not be the best at summarizing, I'll type in what it says in the inside flap of the book
When Sydney is torn from her bed in the middle of the night, at first she thinks she's still being punished for her complicated alliance with dhampire Rose Hathaway. But what unfolds is far worse. Jill Dragomir-the sister of Moroi Queen Lissa Draomir- is in mortal danger, and the Moroi must send her into hiding. To avoid a civil war, Sydney is called upon to act as Jill's guardian and protector, posing as her roommate in the unlikeliest of the places: a human boarding school in Palm Springs, California. The last thing Sydny wants is to be accused of sympathizing with vampires. And now she has to live with one. The Moroi court believe Jill and Sydney will be safe at Amberwood Prep, but threats, distractions, and forbidden romance lurk both outside-and within- the school grounds. Now that they're in hiding, the drama is only just beginning
Okay, so there is the summary, and I have to say that the book was very interesting. I loved it! To give you a little more detail about the setting, Sydney must do this task with Keith(Alchemist) and Eddie(Dhampir). I also just wanted to say that if it wasn't obvious-that the POV in this book is Sydney. From Vampire Academy, I've always liked her and I think it was very interesting seeing what she thought of things-and how her personality differs from Rose. I feel like in this book, you discover how much self control Sydney really has. In Vampire Academy, Rose always spoke her mind while here, Sydney keeps the things that she really wants to say to herself. In my opinion, one of the interesting parts of the book, was in the beginning, when Sydney was talking to Rose. You'll see that in this book, many characters come back and it's more like the 7nth Vampire Academy book-except a different POV. Since in Vampire Academy, I only could know what Rose(and Lissa because of the bond-until end of 7nth book) thought; it was very interesting to instead hear what others thought about Rose. Also, in the Vampire Academy, I LOVED Adrian and I was so happy that he was an important character in this series. In here, Adrian is heartbroken about Rose and he's very unhappy to be part of  Sydney's mission to protect Jill. Reading about the interaction between Adrian and Sydney is so incredibly fascinating and you learn that Adrian has a different, softer side. Overall, I think this book is so incredibly good-and I hope it turns out to reach Vampire Academy's standards. Thanks for reading my first book review and also, what are some good book blog names I could use? Should I even make a book blog? What do you think about this review? What could I do to make it better? Did you like this book? Hate it?
♥THANKS!♥

  1. Hi,
Saw the link to your blog in a group on Goodreads. Following you through RSS. My blog is at: http://365-books-a-year.blogspot.com/

If you want to exchange follows on Twitter, follow me and I will follow back within 24 hours. https://twitter.com/365Books_A_Year

I saw The Golden Lily on GR and wanted to read it. Then I discovered it was a series, that in turn was a spinoff from another series (Vampire Academy) So, I kind of put it far down on my TBR list because I didn't want to start another series. But, there was a question on one of those weekly memes and a lot of people answered with characters from Vampire Academy. So, I bought the first book- which is a major commitment for me. I loved VA.

As far as your reviews, my only advice would be to find your own style. Not to worry so much about what should be in it, what other people include in theirs. Just write how you want to write.
