why have I been gone so long?

Hello! I feel so sad writing this post, because unfortunately, it will be the last time. Don't be too sad, because....I have a new blog! Yes, I have moved platforms and I'm now using jux. 

Before you unfollow and never check here again, I might come back to blogger sooner or later so it is a possible goodbye...? The reason I'm leaving blogger was because I wanted a platform more intricate and less simple. Although jux (I think) has what I want, blogger is my home and I might not be able to abandon it.

Now, MY BOOK BLOG IS STILL BLOGGER! I am NOT planning to move platforms for that ANY TIME soon. When it comes to stuff like book reviews, the simplicity of blogger comes in handy.

I am going to miss every single person who has ever stumbled upon my blog, through all of my horrible posts and changing URL's. This goodbye makes me a lot sadder than I'd like to be, so there is a good chance I will be back better than ever.

So recently, I read this (really good) book called Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

Recently, I made an 8 tracks account! If you don't already know what that is, it's a website where people post personalized playlists of songs for you to listen to.

I know I've been doing playlists on my blog, but from now on, I'll be doing them on there!

Hello! Today, in celebration of the new year, I decided to show you twelve of my favorite songs from 2012. Originally, I saw this idea on tumblr, and so decided to transfer it onto blogger. Either way, here is a medley of the greatest hits of this year. (P.S. This is in no particular order)

#1 Creep- Radiohead

This really is my favorite song of all time, so it had to make an appearance in this playlist. 

#2 What You Know-Two Door Cinema Club

I'm just a really big fan of this band. Their music is really good.

I just really love this song, so give it a listen!

#4 Soma-The Strokes

Very addicting to listen to. For some odd reason, the video I have linked to the song, is pretty much the greatest lyric video I've seen. It was made about 7 years ago, but I really like it.

Definitely the catchiest out of the bunch. This song, in my opinion, is just a very universal song. Many of my friends, who's music taste differs from mine, all agree that this is just a good tune.

An old, but really good song.

#9 Oh Well- Fiona Apple (unreleased version)

Okay, so this isn't exactly a published song. The actual version is really good, but I'm a bigger fan of this. Fiona Apple>other female singers.

I'm in completely love with this song. The unreleased version is extremely bad ass as well. I know that this is technically two songs, but I'm calling it one.

#11 Sun-Two Door Cinema Club
I just really like this song, this band has made it's debut on this playlist quite a lot.

This is a song that really just grew onto me. At first I thought it was okay, but as I continued listening to it, the tune really clicked with my mind.

Hello! Today, I wanted to bring you a vlog, with my friend Bailey. Sorry I couldn't actually bring ice skating, but hopefully you were satisfied with the random clips I put together.
